Ron Faulkner

Owner and Chef

Chef Ron is a classically trained chef whose distinguished career over the last 20 years has seen him cook all over the world from Europe to Australia. These experiences have influenced his love of different flavour and taste combinations. When part of the government hospitality contract he created dishes for royalty and other eminent figures in various prestigious locations. Ron does not like to restrict himself to one type of cuisine, preferring to experiment with different styles from around the world, using the best seasonal, local ingredients. After working as part of a restaurant in Bristol he is now back at the stoves full time in Thornbury.

Marco

Front of House

Marco was brought up in Southern Italy with an innate passion for food and wine. He came to the UK working first at the 5 star Cliveden House, rated one of the top hotels in England before moving on to another 5 star hotel, the Merrion in Dublin. He then moved on to Ston Easton Park and Thornbury Castle before joining Ronnie’s. With such a wealth of experience at top rated and luxury venues Marco is an expert on making sure you have an unforgettable dining experience. His main goal is to exceed guest expectations, providing an immaculate front of the house experience which is friendly and second to none.

Craig

Craig has worked in the hospitality sector for 7 year starting out at a pub that won Customer Service Pub of the Year in 2010. After university he joined Manor House Hotel and during his time there helped the hotel gain it’s 5th star. Craig joined Ronnie’s at an exciting time and his drive and determination fits in well with Ronnie’s goals and objectives. He is a strong believer in going that extra mile for a customer and is always looking at ways customer service can be improved. He doesn’t don’t feel like his job is done until a customer is leaving with a huge smile on their face.
