
We are thrilled to introduce you to some of Bristol's leading artists. All the artist listed below are exhibiting their work in the restaurant and their work is for sale. Most of the artist will gladly be commissioned to create you a unique piece of work. Watch this space as we continue to introduce more of the West Country's artists.
Hannah McVicarHannah's illustrations are produced through methods of printmaking and stencilling. They are influenced by Japanese print and well known illustrators of the 1920's, especially Thomas Lowinsky. Hannah has recently returned to the United kingdom after working for Abercrombie & Fitch in Columbus, Ohio.
Sarah RhysSarah is a Bristol based artist who makes paintings and digital prints. Recent work has evolved from an ongoing interest in language and signs. She creates sculptures and paintings in glass that are private commissions or one-off fine art pieces. She also works as an artist educator, running workshops in schools, galleries and private venues. These include contemporary Art practice, experimental drawing and animation. Sarah can design workshops to suit individual groups.
Simone MitchellSimone has been painting for as long as she can remember...She currently works from her outhouse in a small village in Westbury Leigh in Wiltshire. Her inspiration comes from people around her,she loves to paint portraits & figures and as soon as she has found a suitable subject she then let's her imagination take over.......... She is a practising Herbalist and sometimes incorporates herbs & flower symbolism to her works...
Laura HodderLaura mainly paints with acrylics, but also work with watercolour and pencil. She tends to use a broad range of subjects, preferably natural. She enjoys amalgamating different pictures or scenes in order to construct the look that you see in a lot of her work, gaining a lot of inspiration for this from the surrealist movement.
Sally HeasleySally is an illustrator and artist who studied illustration at Norwich School of Art and Design. Sally works mainly on a commission basis and charges very reasonable fees. She has developed a passion for drawing architecture and enjoys creating colourful, lively and boldly drawn images of local scenes in pencil, ink and watercolour.
