We have been fortunate over the years to host many dinners, from wine producers travelling across the world to local heroes tell us their story. I am personally very excited whenever Gareth launches a book as we are assured of a fantastic evening. His wit and personal insight into the personalities in his books are truly entertaining.
Join us on Friday 31st May for a five-course dinner and engage with the former Dean of Medicine at Bristol University, as Gareth generously provides the tale into the challenges and mishaps of those who forged the path towards the discovery of modern genetics.
The evening is priced at £45 per person which includes a 5-course menu or £65 per person with wine. The season menu for the literary evening offers some of my favourite spring dishes. Please book early to avoid disappointment and note this is a ticketed event and payment will be requested when you book.
Keep an eye out for wine and food pairing evenings which are due to start on the first Thursday of every month and will be hosted by the charming and charismatic Fred van Niekerk. We will be showing the best of South Africa on the 6th June. Both Fred and I are South African and are keen to show our homeland in all its glory.
